About the Black Entrepreneur Assocation:
The Black Entrepreneur Association founders, Mr. Venturi McCray
and Mr. Therman Stewart and their wives, have been residents of
the Phoenix area for over 25 years. They have a combined 30 years
in entertainment promotions and event planning. Combined with
on-air radio broadcasting, dee-jaying, and radio advertisement
production also. The founders have the good fortune of receiving
the guidance and mentoring of Mr. Lee Winston, of Las Vegas, Nevada’s
nationally recognized community radio station, 88.1FM.
The Black Entrepreneur Association is one of the only black owned
non-profit organizations in the State of Arizona and valued resource
to all listeners for education, information, community service,
fair reporting and representation of minorities in the news. BEA
will be known for entertainment as well as partnership throughout
the community in their efforts to confront important issues for
families, neighborhoods, students and entrepreneurs. They will
not simply compete to entertain listeners, but more importantly
for being a primary resource for information that focuses on the
needs of families and businesses.
